A brief description of your company
Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd is registered in terms of the Companies Act of Zimbabwe and it is also a fully registered member of the Estate Agents Council Zimbabwe registered in terms of Estate Agents act since 2009. The company was duly registered in 2008.

What are the goals of your company?
- Create and launch new projects in various sectors.
We are currently diversifying into the sector of renewable energy and power generation. Our goal is to set up various mega solar plants across Zimbabwe to generate approximately 1000 MW a day.

What has been achieved by your company since its creation?
The company managed to successfully implement two housing projects in Zimbabwe being a High Density Housing Development Project and an Agro-Residential Plots project development.
The Zimbabwe Business Awards Council awarded Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd and Kudakwashe Taruberekera, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, the Company of the Year 2017 and Businessman of the Year awards in the Property and Land Development Sector 2017 respectively.
Co-director of Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd Mrs. Yeukai Taruberekera was also accorded the National Top 20 Businesswoman of the Year 2017 award at an event hosted by Megafest National Business Awards Zimbabwe. At this same event, Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd, also received the National Top 20 Award 2017.
Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd was accorded World Business Leader award by BIZZ for being a successful leader who works in an innovative, knowledgeable and systematic manner and was also conferred with another award in recognition of Entrepreneurial Company with all its privileges and obligations. Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kudakwashe Taruberekera was at the same occasion in Miami Florida honored with the World Leader Businessperson award for being a successful leader who works in an innovative, knowledgeable and systematic manner.
Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd was conferred upon the title of Elite Member of the World Confederation of Businesses with all its privileges and obligations
Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd attended Africa Trade and Investment Global Summit (ATIGS) in Washington DC United States of America held from the 24th to 26th of June 2018 and was honored with Africa Business Leader award.
Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd attended an award ceremony held in Paris, France from the 30th of June 2018 to 01st of July 2018. At this ceremony in Paris Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd was also accorded with an International Star for Leadership in Quality award.
What projects has your company developed?
We are concurrently running two housing development projects one being a High Density Development project and another one an Agricultural Residential Plots with brief description hereunder mentioned.
1) HOLYLAND HIGH DENSITY SUBURB- KADOMA
The project is valued over 10 million United States Dollars and comprises of 1573 residential stands measuring between 200-300m2 and a mixture of Institutional, Commercial, Industrial, Flea Market, Vegetable and Petrol Filling Station stands. At this project road construction is underway and water pipes for the first phase of the project comprising of 500 residential stands were laid. We also went further to drill and install a borehole as supplementary water supply. Construction of houses by Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd and beneficiaries of the residential stands is in progress and this is an ongoing. Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd have also constructed houses as an indicative end product that we intend to provide to our clients. These houses are complete and ready for occupation.
2) CRAFT PROPERTIES (GREENFIELD CHERRIES) RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL PLOTS
This project is valued over 3.8 million United States Dollars and is situated 4.5 km from the Central Business District of Kadoma, Zimbabwe. It is on 50 hectares of land and comprises of 93 residential agricultural plots measuring 4000m2 each. The purpose of this development is for horticulture, piggery and poultry. The layout plan was approved and both topographical and title survey was carried out. The Environmental Management Agency Certificate was issued out by EMA permitting the project to commence. Setting out of roads was done and roads construction is in progress. Beneficiaries of these plots have already started construction of houses, chicken runs, greenhouses etc.
What are the most challenging goals that your company has accomplished?
We have managed to successfully implement two housing projects in Zimbabwe during a time when Zimbabwe was having a difficult economic environment. Our high density housing development project went a long way in alleviating the housing shortages in Zimbabwe by proving affordable and decent shelter to low income earners.
